About us

CAVITY technologies was founded in 2022 as a deep tech startup in close cooperation with the Technical University of Braunschweig. Our goal: to develop customized optical resonators that enable the highest frequency stability for precision measurements and quantum technologies. Our team brings years of expertise in simulation, design, and manufacturing.

Dr. Liam Shelling Neto

Managing Director, Co-founder

Liam is an expert in machine learning in the field of nanophotonics. Acting as a bridge between IT and physics, he is responsible for programming and AI implementation.

Dr. Sebastian Häfner

Shareholder

Sebastian is an expert in the field of optical resonators and has worked on numerous projects in this area in the past. These include the most stable resonator at room temperature to date.

Managing Director, Co-founder

Steffen has many years of experience with optical cavities and ultra-stable resonators in various fields of application at different institutions such as the PTB or the LUH. He is responsible for organizing our extensive database.
